Thu, May 13, 2004 - 8:23 AMOk, I've found them on some other sites for as little as $50-90. Still seems a little out of range though? The multiple pop cameras are a little more reasonable.

Sun, May 16, 2004 - 9:41 PMYeah sure the the seagull twin lens is a li'l more pricey than your average plastic jobby but then again after about a solid month or 2 the multi shot plastic cameras start losing stamina and the advance string breaks whereas the twin lens is a real sturdy reliable medium format camera and I will probably have to buy another one of the li'l plastic cameras so along with the instamaticyness of the quality of the photos I would rather pay 200 for the twin lens altho if you really look it's true you can find the more expensive ones elsewhere and more power to you if you do!!!! I wish I had looked a li'l harder before plunging but I love my Seagull and the horizen 202 is a true panoramic with a swing lens so that is pretty cool -

Mon, May 17, 2004 - 9:52 AMI was talking about the LOMO! Christ almight on a pop-sicle stick! Toy cameras are supposed to be just that right, toys! The 'church of lomology' (or whatever they call themselves?) is hocking a new LOMO for $200!!!!? I'm with you, I'd rather pay a bit more for something like a Seagull. On another note, I've found the picture quality of my Holga to be, well, quite surprising. Perhaps it's just a function of my already low expectations and being pleasantly surprised? Hope it lasts but at a street price of around $20 who cares. I'm having a blast with the plastic joby for now. Haven't heard about the Horizen 202. I'll check it out. I figure I'll eventually graduate to a better medium format camera but the Holga has given me lots of confidence in dealing with another, less familiar, film format.
Cheers
